Wild Animal Park : Summer Nights 2009

June 20 – September 7, 2009 : Celebrate Summer with Extended Hours at the Wild Animal Park
Evenings at the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park will be filled with new shows, roaring dinosaurs and outrageous fun as the Park lengthens its hours for the summer.
Here’s a glimpse at what’s in store this summer at the Wild Animal Park:
At Dino Mountain, guests have the opportunity to enjoy more than 20 animated robotic dinosaurs created by Billings Productions, Inc. Open until dusk each night.
Archibald Higginbottom III, who recently sold his thriving ice business in the North Pole moves to San Diego and presents his latest find – a dinosaur named Milly – during The Magical Mystery Dino Show. At 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm daily in Tembo Stadium.
Children can unearth bones, identify them and learn from a historian what may have happened to dinosaurs at the Dino Dig. 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm daily at Jameson Research Island.
During The Bubble Show, a bubblologist demonstrates how large, numerous, and explosive bubbles can be. At 3:30 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm daily in Tembo Stadium.
A new movie, Dino 4-D, continues the dinosaur theme at the ZooWerks ride theater.
The San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park is located at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, California 92027. Summer Extended Hours are 9:00 am to 8:00 pm daily from Saturday, June 20, 2009 to Monday, September 7, 2009.
