UltraStar 2009 Summer Kids’ Film Series: 10 Movies for $5.00

Select UltraStar Cinemas will be hosting a Summer Kids’ Film Series of family-friendly films staring in May 2009. Festival Tickets are on sale now, and cost $5.00 for the entire series.

The UltraStar 2009 Summer Kids’ Film Series will feature a different G or PG rated film each week for 10 weeks at the Poway, Apple Valley, Lake Havasu and Surprise Pointe UltraStar Cinemas. Each movie begins at 9:30 am, with doors opening at 9:00 am. Movies scheduled for this year’s film festival are as follows:

  • Week 1: Kung Fu Panda
  • Week 2: Madagascar 2
  • Week 3: Journey to the Center of the Earth
  • Week 4: Nim’s Island
  • Week 5: The Longshots
  • Week 6: Space Chimps
  • Week 7: Horton Hears A Who
  • Week 8: The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything
  • Week 9: IGOR
  • Week 10: The Tale of Despereaux

*Films subject to change without notice

The start dates for the Kids’ Series varies based on location, as follows:

  • Lake Havasu UltraStar: Every Thursday, from May 29, 2009 to July 30, 2009
  • Surprise Pointe UltraStar: Every Wednesday & Thursday, from May 28, 2009 to July 30, 2009
  • Apple Valley UltraStar: Every Thursday, from June 4, 2009 to August 6, 2009
  • Poway UltraStar: Every Thursday, from June 18, 2009 to August 20, 2009

Tickets to the Summer Kids’ Film Series are on sale now at the theater’s box office and cost $5.00 for the entire 10 week series. The Film Festival Pass allows you to see one film per week. Festival Pass Holders are also entitled to $1.50 off a Kiddie Combo Tray that can be used every time you visit the UltraStar Cinema all summer long.
