Mother Goose Parade 2008

The Sunday before Thanksgiving can mean only one thing: the Mother Goose Parade! Now in its 62nd year, the Mother Goose Parade will take place in El Cajon this Sunday, November 23, 2008.
Free and family friendly, the Mother Goose Parade is one of the largest and longest running televised parades in North America and holds the promise of an unparalleled guest list of celebrities, floats, performers and balloons - and this year is no exception!
Well over 100 colorful and exciting parade entries – including spectacular motorized floats, glorious marching bands and drill units, eloquent equestrians, animated clowns, special characters, special guests (including Santa Claus!), performing artists, celebrities, giant helium balloons and specialty vehicles – come from across the United States to share in the excitement of the Mother Goose Parade.
Parade Day will kick off with a Pre-Show Concert featuring America’s Got Talent Season 3 top three finalist Nuttin’ But Stringz and the Parade itself will kick off with an Air Force Jet fly over.

The 2008 Mother Goose Parade takes place on Sunday, November 23, 2008 along Main Street in El Cajon, California. The Parade kicks off at 10:00 am; celebrities are scheduled to arrive at 8:00 am and the Pre-Show Concert featuring Nuttin’ But Stringz will begin at 9:30 am. This is free, family friendly event.
Editor’s Note: Thousands of people are expected to attend the 2008 Mother Goose Parade. Arrive early to get a good spot!
