The Head to Toe Women’s Expo – the ultimate day out for women – returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds on November 7, 8 and 9, 2008.
Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to get started on your holiday shopping or to just take some time out to pamper yourself before the holiday rush begins, the Head to Toe Women’s Expo is the place to be. From shopping to speakers; investing to indulging; the Head to Toe Women’s Expo has thought of it all – from head, to toe!
New this year to the Head to Toe Women’s Expo is the appearance by Constance Ramos, color specialist and host of HGTV’s Color Correction. Ramos, who was also one of the original members of the design team on the popular Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, will share her home makeover tips so you too can avert color disasters and will answer audience questions to common color dilemmas in a presentation slated for Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 12:00 pm. There will also be a drawing for one lucky guest to win a color and design consultation with Ramos at the Head to Toe Women’s Expo.
Other speakers and events scheduled for this year’s Expo are:
Tiger Palafox of Mission Hills Nursery – Tiger will share tips and trends on how to develop fragrance in your garden and bring those sweet smells into your home.
Claudia Johnson of Exclamation! Gifts – Claudia arrives in time for the holiday to share the art of creative gift baskets.
Wine, Cheese and Chocolate – Sample wines from Little Black Dress, presented by Ralph’s Grocery Stores, the Expo’s lead sponsor.
Constance Ramos the Host of HGTV’s Color Correction – Constance will share her home makeover tips and answer questions to common color dilemmas.
Chef Kevin Templeton of Zocalo demontrates Nuevo Latin cuisine.
Fashion Show – Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers model apparel available at the Expo.
Chef Orion Balliet of Azul La Jolla – Savory samples from one of the Expo’s favorite chefs.
Dr. Leslie Van Romer, Author of Getting into Your Pants – Get motivated and look sizzling hot in your favorite jeans!
Linda Khan of Beauty Kliniek Aromatherapy Day Spa & Wellness Center – Health management and weight control.

The Head to Toe Women’s Expo, presented by Ralph’s Grocery Stores takes place on Friday, November 7, Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds (2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard, Del Mar, CA, 92014). The Expo runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8, 2008 and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 9, 2008.
Tickets, available at the door, are $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors (on Friday November 7, 2008 only), and children under 12 are free. There is an additional charge for parking at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
