San Diego Festival of Beer 2008

The San Diego Festival of Beer returns to Downtown San Diego to bring participants a fun-filled evening featuring live music and approximately 120 different beers from 55 microbreweries. Now in its fourteenth year, the San Diego Festival of Beer 2008 is expected to attract over 4,000 beer aficionados.
Microbreweries participating in this year’s Festival of Beer – many of which are featured on “Best Microbreweries” lists around the world – include:

Live music is also a highlight of the Festival. This year’s line-up includes: Len Rainey and the Midnight Players, Night Shift, Jon Kanis, The Dave Humphries Band, The Downstroke and 5 South.
The San Diego Festival of Beer 2008 takes place on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 12:00 pm (midnight) at Columbia and B Street in Downtown San Diego. Advance tickets are available online for $25.00 each and includes 10 tastes (tasting size is 4 ounces per taste). Tickets purchased at the door are $30.00 each. Special admission price for Designated Drivers is $20.00. If you are one of the first 3,000 guests to enter the Festival of Beer, you will receive a free souvenir event logo tasting mug that is yours to use throughout the evening and to keep when you head home. Food, snacks, additional beer tasting coupons and wine by the glass will be available for purchase inside the Festival. Please note that the San Diego Festival of Beer is a non-smoking, adult-oriented (21 years and over) beer tasting event. No one will be admitted without photo and birth date ID, and no children or pets are permitted.
