San Diego : Taste of Downtown 2008

Let your taste buds be your guide on this gastronomic journey through downtown San Diego!

Returning for the seventh consecutive year, San Diego’s Taste of Downtown 2008 is your opportunity to stroll the streets of the historic Gaslamp Quarter, the bustling Financial District, Horton Plaza Shopping Center, cultural Little Italy and the newly renovated Ballpark District (the “East Village”) on a self-guided walking and tasting tour of over 60 of Downtown San Diego’s finest restaurants.

Here’s a partial list of some of the Downtown San Diego restaurants participating in Taste of Downtown 2008:

Don’t want to walk? Not to worry; a free shuttle is available throughout the downtown districts with your Taste of Downtown ticket.

The Taste of Downtown 2008 will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 on the day of the Taste. You may purchase your tickets online or at select downtown restaurants (Note: if you purchase your tickets online, you must present your printed voucher and validate it at the Will Call booth prior to starting the Taste. The Will Call booth will be located at Broadway Circle in Horton Plaza.)
