What better way to kick off the weekend than at the Del Mar Races 4 ‘o clock Fridays?

On Fridays, the Del Mar Races begin at 4:00 pm (except for the last three Fridays, when the first race will take place at 3:30 pm). After the last race, head over to the concert stage (located at the Plaza de Mexico) and enjoy a free concert by some of the hottest bands in the country.

4 ‘o clock Fridays concerts are free with paid racetrack admission and begin following the last race. There is no seating for the concerts; it’s standing room only. And best of all, the concerts are never sold out!

• Super Diamond - Join Surreal Neil and Super Diamond as they pay tribute to the legendary Neil Diamond.

The 2008 Del Mar Races Thoroughbred Horse Racing season takes place from Wednesday, July 16, 2008 to Wednesday, September 3, 2008. There are no races on Tuesdays.
