Disney Bridal Gowns by Kirstie Kelly : 2008 & 2009 Collections
July 16th, 2008

Kirstie Kelly has done it again!
Taking its place amongst the Disney Princess inspired wedding gowns already in the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings collection designed by Kirstie Kelly is a line of bridal wear inspired by the Disney movie “Enchanted,” including a unique platinum wedding gown named “Giselle.” In the words of the Designer herself, “the Giselle gown has a Manhattan-like sophistication…A heroine like Giselle combines a love of nature with a sensibility for the contemporary, and this is clearly the inspiration for this very special gown.”
The Giselle platinum wedding gown was unveiled earlier this year during New York’s Bridal Fashion Week 2008 alongside twelve new gowns, each inspired by a Disney Princess including Ariel, Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White and Jasmine. Kirstie Kelly’s Disney Fairytale Wedding gowns are never an exact replica of the dresses and gowns worn by the namesake Princesses. Instead, each piece is re-interpreted for the modern day bride in a fashion-forward manner, while capturing the essence of each Disney Princess. The new 2008 and 2009 Disney’s Fairytale Wedding collections continue the fashio-forward, haute couture bridal styling that Kirstie Kelly is known for, using contemporary treatments of silk chiffon, satin and a variety of laces, and combining these fabrics with elegant accents such as: touches of crystals; ribbon; exquisite embroidery and delicate beadwork.
