True to form, Disney collaborated with the best when designing its Fairy Tale Wedding Bridal Collection. Kirstie Kelly has been designing couture bridal gowns and evening wear for over a decade and is renowned for her exquisite and original gowns. Her designs have been worn by many of today’s most fashionable celebrities and socialites.
For Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings line, Kirstie Kelly has designed an entire line of gowns, dresses and accessories that embody the unique spirit and beauty of Disney’s most famous Princesses, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel (see left photo) and Belle (see right photo).
Do not expect to find exact replicas of the dresses worn by the Princesses in the various Disney animated classics: in creating the Disney gowns, Kirstie Kelly looked to the Princesses not for duplication, but for inspiration, capturing the aura and essence of each Princess in fashion-forward bridal gowns and accessories.
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings line has attracted widespread attention and accolades since its debut during Bridal Fashion Week in New York City in April of 2007. The line was expanded in the Fall of 2007 and now includes: Bridal – a new line of wedding gowns; Maiden – an expanded line of dresses for bridesmaids and evening wear; Princess Blossoms – dresses for flower girls and special occasions; and Jewels – exquisite jewelry and veils designed to complete the Disney-inspired fairy tale look.
