Random Film Festival : Free Family Film Festival

June 10th, 2007

With school quickly coming to a close, the search for summer entertainment begins.  Why not catch a mid-week matinee?

Now in its 16th year, Regal Cinemas’ Free Family Film Festival is a crowd pleaser. Select Regal Entertainment Group theatres across the country (including locations in San Marcos, El Cajon, Oceanside, Escondido and Mira Mesa) will be screening G-rated and PG-rated films during the nine-week film festival. Movies at this year’s Festival include Charlotte’s Web, Monster House, Curious George, Happy Feet, Night at the Museum, Ice Age: Meltdown and Clifford’s Really Big Movie.

The Free Family Film Festival runs every Tuesday and Wednesday from June 19, 2007 to August 22, 2007. Each movie starts at 10:00 am. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to theater capacity. Admission is free.

For more information about the Free Family Film Festival, including a list of Festival Films screening near you, check out the Regal Cinemas website.

Editor’s Note: This Film Festival is extremely popular and seats tend to fill up fairly quickly. Line up early (around 9:00 or 9:15 am), to avoid disappointment. Most theatres will let you into the theater anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes before the show begins.
