Museum Month in San Diego

February is Museum Month in San Diego: 28 days to visit 33 museums at 50% off the regular price of admission! Now in its 18th year, Museum Month was created in 1989 to promote awareness of San Diego’s cultural offerings and has become a staple event in San Diego.

Visit participating San Diego County museums and institutions for half price during the month of February with your free Museum Month pass. You can get your Museum Month pass from any Macy’s Department Store starting February 1, 2007.  The pass is free of charge, no purchase is necessary. Then, take your Museum Month pass to any of the 33 participating museums and institutions and enjoy 50% off the regular price of admission.

Museums and institutions participating in Museum Month 2007 include: Birch Aquarium at Scripps, California Center for the Arts Museum (Escondido), Maritime Museum of San Diego, Mingei International Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Museum of Making Music, Quail Botanical Gardens, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum (USS Midway), San Diego Model Railroad Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, San Diego Museum of Man, San Diego Museum of Natural History, San Diego Hall of Champions and the Women’s History Museum and Education Center.
