America’s Got Talent Semi-Finalist Performs in San Diego
September 9th, 2006
This summer’s reality TV talent show America’s Got Talent showcased some pretty interesting acts. Here’s a random tidbit: one of the performers is a local San Diego talent!
Do you remember the guy who did the Godzilla Theater bit? You know…the one with the two birds…ventriloquist Kevin Johnson?
Kevin appeared on the NBC show on June 21st and then on the semi-final round on July 12th.
Unfortunately, he was eliminated, but his talent was quite apparent. To see more of Kevin and his feathered friends Clyde and Matilda, you can catch his act at Legoland California, where he performs five days a week at the Playtown Theater. He can also be seen on Wednesday nights in Escondido, performing at the Lawrence Welk Theater in a comedy and magic show.
His act is funny, engaging, air-conditioned and definately worth checking out.
Note: Kevin will be on hiatus from Legoland September 9-20 and November 21-22.
