Meet Max: The Wild Animal Park’s Unofficial Greeter

When you go to the Wild Animal Park, be sure to stop in at the Plant Trader Gift Shop and say hello to Max, the Wild Animal Park’s unofficial Greeter.
Max, you see, is a cockatoo with a flair for entertaining.
His vocabulary includes “How are you?” and “Hello Max” plus a healthy dose of wolf whistles and duck impersonations – the latter courtesy of his white-faced whistling duck neighbors.
Max has been entertaining guests for over 25 years and is always delighted to meet new friends, so don’t forget to drop by.
